Grand Lake . “What is it about this place?” Is it the brilliant sun against the blue water? Is it the sound of laughter and waves? Is it the years and years of childhood memories at the lake? Water skiing, bonfires, black inner tubes, hamburgers, tents, sandy feet, smiles and family and tradition.
It is for these remembrances that you are invited to the 3rd decade
Dean Family Reunion 2025. We've been celebrating July 4th at Grand Lake for over 60 years or more. Let's continue with the memories!
The happiness I feel at the lake is an emotion that is hard to describe,
Peace fills me up and allows calmness and joy to reside,
Family, connections, memories, are all found here,
Hand in hand, singing praise, so thankful are loved ones near,
Poppa Dad’s legacy lives on as we gather by the fire,
The warmth from the flames and company shared raise our spirits higher,
Brilliant exquisiteness emits from the gardens that surround the land,
Gratitude is felt for the hard work of Susan’s hand,
Sailboats line the vibrant purple and orange horizon as the sun sinks below our view,
The echo of conch shells calling back to us from a distance while the night becomes a dark and comforting blue,
Independence Day on this lake; GRAND in so many ways more than size,
The experience is one that makes me realize,
The precious gift of life, of family, of love,
What a beautiful notion during the cascade of fireworks from above.
